It's Time to Go Solar!
Texans are ready for a new energy future. We have the resources; we just need the political will to make it happen. That's why we're asking Gov. Perry to help Texas go solar! Sign our petition today:
Dear Governor Perry,
According to the State Energy Office, Texas has the best solar potential in the nation. By tapping just a small fraction of this potential, we could generate at least 10 percent of our energy from solar by 2025.
We should use our technological know-how to become a world solar leader, creating thousands of high-paying "green collar" jobs and helping clean up our air.
Please make solar power a centerpiece of Texas' energy future by supporting: incentives to make it easier for homes and businesses to install solar panels; goals for utilities to generate more electricity from solar; and aggressive efforts to build transmission lines to the sunniest parts of the state. |
