10 State Legislators urge the Railroad Commission of Texas' to strengthen their new proposal to address flaring and methane pollution.

After years of advocacy from environmentalists, investors, and public health advocates the Railroad Commission of Texas has put forward a proposal to address flaring and venting — but members of the Texas Legislature say that it doesn’t go far enough. 10 members of the Texas House and Senate submitted comments to the proposal, urging the Commission to go further by creating a plan to end routine flaring by 2025.
